Mars Design’s website for the architectural firm Gallin Design Studio, www.gdstudio.com was chosen as the winner of two silver Davey Awards. Mars Design received one award for the site’s comprehensive Navigation and a second for outstanding website in the Professional Services category.
The project included a new identity and website for award-winning architect Michael Gallin. Mars Design re-branded the growing company from Michael Gallin Architect to Gallin Design Studio to encompass all aspects of their expertise such as interior design, architectural design and planning services. The swift and clear navigation of this website is its key to success. Mars Design created a streamlined fluidity to multi-layers of information, all the while keeping the approach clean, modern and user-friendly.
The Davey Awards, which takes its name from the famous David and Goliath story, honors the achievements of “Creative Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas rather than big budgets. The intense judging process is conducted by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA). IAVA, an invitation only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “who’s who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms and has members who are executives from organizations such as Estee Lauder, HBO, Polo Ralph Lauren, Coach, Wired, MTV, Yahoo! and many more.
